Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. According to organisers, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people drug prevention Austria make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
